The Elves are coming back!

Friday 11th December

Calling all parents please!

Father Christmas is sending his Elves and travelling workshop back to Our Lady’s School this Christmas!  We are looking for donations of any small gifts or toys to enable the elves to set up their workshop.

The idea is that the children will bring in £1 to visit Santa’s workshop, where they can choose a secret present for either mum/dad/brother/ sister/grandma/grandpa from the selection of gifts you all provide.  The elves will help the children to wrap and label their gift in secret so they can bring it home as their special present for someone in their family to go under the Christmas tree.

Obviously we need a wide range of small items for all ages;

Just a few gift ideas: good condition 2nd hand toys/books, unwanted gifts, notepads/notelets, bar of soap, showergel, socks, 2nd hand cd’s/dvds.

The Elves will also need a good supply of wrapping paper/ribbons…

Please send in your items to school for MUFTI day on Friday 4th December in a bag clearly labelled ‘Santa’s Workshop’

We hope the workshop will be a success and generate excitement in our children about giving gifts as well as receiving them.  All funds generated will be invested back into the school.

Please try to send in something appropriate for a child to choose as a potential gift for their parents or a member of their family – so on this occasion no wine thank you.

The Elves are hoping to open the workshop on Friday11th December.  If you can spare an hour or two that Friday morning and would like to be an elf, please let Mrs Lynn/Mr Houghton know.  Alternatively, you can email This email address is being protected from spambots. Thank you so much in anticipation of your support.
