Team Around the School
The "Team Around the School" initiative, part of a Sefton pilot project, aims to enhance collaboration among key stakeholders—including Early Help workers, an Educational Psychologist, an Inclusion Consultant, a School Health Practitioner, school staff, and parents—to support the well-being and academic success of our children.
Key Objectives:
-
Holistic Support: Providing comprehensive, early assistance to address both academic and personal needs.
-
Early Intervention: Proactively identifying and addressing challenges to prevent issues from escalating.
-
Individualized Care: Customizing support based on each student’s unique needs, recognizing the diversity of required assistance.
-
Enhanced Communication: Fostering open communication among teachers, parents, and team members for a cohesive support system.
-
Resource Sharing: Utilizing school and community resources to offer a broad range of support services.
-
Inclusive Environment: Promoting inclusivity and fostering a culture where all students feel valued and supported.
-
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Working together to identify challenges, create strategies, and implement solutions to support children’s success.
The "Team Around the School" approach creates a collaborative ecosystem tailored to the diverse needs of our students, enhancing their overall educational experience.
